Frank Hedley is the Chair of the Supervisory Committee of our Credit Union. Since he didn't come from the San Francisco Police Department he may not be known to you. Instead, he came through the ranks to become Chief of Police of San Bruno and then became City Manager. After 40 years of public service, he retired. During his police career he also served with the San Bruno Employees' Credit Union in a variety of volunteer positions, including the supervisory and audit committees. He was President of the Board of Directors when the San Bruno Credit Union was merged into the San Mateo County Credit Union.
Before public service, Frank spent several years in private banking, starting as a bookkeeper. He served also as a branch operations manager, loan officer, auditor/inspector and finally, as an assistant district operations manager. He left the private sector because he wanted to get into public service. Frank's banking, police and city administration background make him uniquely qualified to do the job of inspecting our Credit Union operations.
