Looney Tunes Kids Program

youth iconIt’s never too early to start saving and at SFPCU we make savings fun!  The Looney Tunes Kids Program is for kids 12 and under. This account offers age-appropriate tools to help promote good financial habits.

For Parents

  • Through online access, parents can review account activity anytime

*Deposit Stamp Card: A minimum $15.00 deposit is required and the account holder must be 17 and under to qualify for a stamp. Deposits must be made in the branch. ACH transfers/direct deposits/periodic payments/transfer of funds from another member are not eligible. Deposit cards are non-transferable. One $50 gift card will be awarded each quarter. The winner will be selected by random drawing in January, April, July, and October and will be notified in writing or by email or telephone. SFPCU assumes no liability in relation to this prize.

Our youth accounts require a few additional steps. Please read the following information to ensure you are submitting a complete and accurate application.

  • Complete the Member Information section with your child’s information
  • A joint owner is required for all under 18 accounts, but does not need to be the parent or legal guardian of the child.
  • Joint owner must complete the Joint Member Information section.

Different Ways To Apply for Membership:

  1. Apply Online: Complete an Online Membership Application - Apply Online 
  2. Apply in Person: Visit a branch location and meet with a Member Services Representative
  3. Apply by Mail:
    • Download our Membership Application (pdf 1.5mb), or request a Membership Application by phone at 800.222.1391 or email Member Services and we will mail one to you
    • After you complete the Membership Application (pdf 1.26mb), please sign and mail to:

    • Please include a copy of your current driver's license or state issued identification card and an initial deposit of at least $25 with your membership application to open your child's account.
    • Please sign on both Member signature lines (top and bottom) in the following format:
      Example: John Doe Jr. by John Doe (Father) or John Doe Jr. by Jane Doe (Mother)
      Accounts for individuals who are under 18 require specific signatures. The Parent/legal guardian must sign on behalf of the minor who's establishing an account.
    • Joint owner must also sign the application at the top.
  4. Apply by Phone: Call us at 800.222.1391 to speak with a Member Services Representative
