Branch Manager I

We are currently looking for a Branch Manager who will be responsible for Cultivating and sustaining member relationships that maximize member satisfaction, retention and loyalty. Follow our sales strategies and member development process with immediate needs assessment and fulfillment providing the opportunity for the credit union to deepen the relationship with our members. Build credit union staff awareness and trust in our products and services by effectively modeling the advantage of bridging credit union products and services with their needs.

Following established procedures with support of branch operations, directs and controls the operational activities and staff of assigned branch. Branch size is normally small, with less than 6 employees. Insures the application and compliance with established operating policies and procedures of the Credit Union. Compiles branch operating reports for management analysis. Coordinates member services activities. Formulates basic recommendations concerning policies and services for review by management. Assists in the employment, counseling performance evaluation, training, motivation and discipline of assigned employees.

High School Diploma required. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience strongly desired. Minimum of three or more years of supervisory level experience required within a financial institution- preferably a credit union or other sales & service related industry. Requires strong well-rounded knowledge of the Credit Union industry, regulations, operations and lending as would normally be obtained by three or more years’ experience within new accounts/ loan officer/ position. Ability to identify, develop and implement (set/attain) staff performance objectives and goals in relationship to credit union campaigns, strategic planning etc.
